Qatar Media City set out to become the region's defining hub for media, creativity and technology — attracting global talent and leading brands to a purpose-built ecosystem in Doha.
The branding challenge was a familiar but genuinely difficult one: how do you design an identity that honours deep cultural roots while signalling radical openness to the future? Too traditional and it risks feeling closed. Too futuristic and it loses the authenticity that makes Qatar distinctive.
Working at Prophet, I led the design and art direction of an identity that holds both truths at once — progressive and multicultural in ambition, unmistakably Qatari in character. The visual system launched across social, ATL, print, airport and digital — confident enough to compete on the global media stage, while always remaining grounded in where it comes from.

The brand balances a future driven society ambition with traditional values keeping it "Qatari at heart", creating a progressive, multi-cultural tech hub open to the world.
